Carlsberg Special Brew is a rich malty, strong lager. First produced in 1950 to commemorate Sir Winston Churchill's visit to Copenhagen, Special Brew has Cognac notes to reflect Churchill's favourite tipple. It is full bodied, with a distinct bitterness. Since its launch to market in the early 1970's Carlsberg Special Brew has been one of the leading UK strong lagers.
