Our leadership

Our executive committee brings a wealth of leadership and drinks industry experience to the helm. It’s their job to guide Carlsberg UK as a business – and as a beacon of premium brewing excellence.

Tomasz Bławat

Tomasz Bławat

Managing Director, Carlsberg UK

Tomasz joined Carlsberg UK in January 2019 having led Carlsberg Poland for six years, where delivered significant growth and upgrade of the business. His long work experience is across FMCG and the finance industry and includes tenures at Procter & Gamble as Managing Director in the Baltics; Vice President Sales, Marketing and Distribution for SABMiller Poland; as well four years as CEO for ING Insurance & Pension, Poland. Tomasz is also Non-Executive Director of Stock Spirits plc.

Bruce Ray

Bruce Ray

Vice president of corporate affairs since 2012.

Bruce joined Carlsberg UK having spent 18 years at Bacardi Brown-Forman Brands, where he held senior roles in sales, marketing and corporate affairs. Bruce is also responsible for our Government Relations & Public Affairs at Carlsberg globally. Bruce sits on a number of industry bodies, is on the Board of IARD, the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking, is chairman of the Future Beer Group of the British Beer & Pub Association and an Executive Committee member of the Brewers of Europe.

Liam Newton

Liam Newton

Vice president, marketing, since 2016.

Liam joined Carlsberg UK having led major branding projects at global agency Landor. Prior to this, Liam was marketing director at, Bacardi Brown-Forman, overseeing the growth of Grey Goose and Bombay Sapphire; ABInBev, leading the charge on Stella Artois and the integration of Beck’s beer.

Greg Morris

Greg Morris

Vice president, human resources, since 2018.

Greg joined Carlsberg UK from his position as Senior HR Director, Commercial Functions, ESSA for PepsiCo. He began his career as Senior HR Officer at Nestlé in 1997, before joining Northern Foods as HR Manager and holding senior HR positions at PepsiCo culminating in his final senior appointment there.

Alistair Gaunt

Alistair Gaunt

Vice president, on trade business unit, since March 2019.

Alistair joined Carlsberg UK in 2017 from Premier Foods, where he was sales director, responsible for sales, category development and value management. Prior to this, he spent 14 years at Cadbury; latterly in a number of customer sales roles and also leading the customer marketing team, where he drove development of the confectionery category strategy for the total UK organisation.

Chris Pratt

Chris Pratt

Vice president, off trade sales, since March 2019. 

Since joining Carlsberg UK, Chris has led the Independent Free Trade and off-trade customer planning function, covering crucial areas including sales capability, sales reporting and sales operations. Prior to joining Carlsberg, Chris worked for Mondelez and fulfilled a number of leadership roles across national accounts, field sales, customer marketing and category planning.

Adam Stubbs

Adam Stubbs

Vice president, finance, since April 2018.

Adam joined Carlsberg UK as the new Vice President Finance in April 2018 from Tate & Lyle PLC where he was Divisional Finance Director. Adam has held a number of senior finance roles at Youngs Seafood and Cadbury’s. 

Sarah Perry

Sarah Perry

Vice president, customer supply chain, since September 2019.

Sarah joined Carlsberg UK in September 2019 from Coca Cola European Partners, where she was Director of Cold Drinks operations, with responsibility for supply planning, customer service, field engineering and logistics. During her nine years with the business she also held the positions of Customer Logistics Director and Customer Services Director. Prior to this Sarah held a number of senior roles within Oxford University Press and Nestle Waters.

Ramesh Kataria

Ramesh Kataria

Vice president, production, since January 2020.

Ramesh joined Carlsberg from a position as Industrial Director at Lactalis India. Before Lactalis, Ramesh was 7 years with Mondelez India, in roles such as Associate Vice President and Manufacturing Head of multiple sites in India. From 2007-2010 he was operations manager in Heinz, and before that he spent 10 years with Nestlé India in different manufacturing roles.
