TV personality, Jeff Stelling has completed an epic challenge in a bid to tame prostate cancer, raising over £300,000 by completing ten walking marathons in ten days - from Hartlepool United to Wembley.
Leading beer brand, Carlsberg partnered with the men’s health charity Prostate Cancer UK to take on the challenge. Twenty-four employees joined the Men United March on Monday 28th March from Northampton, home to Carlsberg UK’s brewery and head office, to Milton Keynes. Team Carlsberg collectively raised £10,000 for the charity.
Jeff was joined by famous friends and colleagues along the way in a show of support, with visits from Trevor Sinclair, Denis Wise, Chris Powell, Dean Smith, Matt Le Tissier, Paul Merson, Charlie Nicholas, Mark Bright and Les Ferdinand and many more.
Jeff’s March totalled 262 miles over ten days with the 61 year old checking in at 32 football clubs along the way. Support for the walk can still be pledged by visiting menunitedmarch.org.
