Last night we were delighted to scoop a prestigious award for our Crafted Handbook and Tapsters Cask Ale Guide, at the British Guild of Beer Writers Awards 2016.
The award was Guild Award for Best Beer Writer – Corporate Communications.
Both publications were commended for the high quality of writing within, offering support for the trade on a range of issues including picking the correct range and storing beer.
Crafted gained additional praise for using a paper produced from spent brewers’ grain on the cover.
The British Guild of Beer Writers was formed in 1988 to help spread the word about beers, brewing and pubs – and the awards evening recognises the best in class, across a small range of categories. For us to be recognised in this way shows just how well thought of Crafted and Tapsters are – building our reputation as a brewer offering more than just great beers.
Below is Crafted ‘architect’ Adrian Rigby collecting his award.
And pictured above is Adrian, alongside fellow winners on the evening and contributors to Crafted and Tapster, Annabelle Smith and Pete Brown.
Pete won three awards – including the prestigious ‘Beer Writer of the Year 2016’.
Well done to all of the winners!
